Vacant Lot
Surf-soaked grooves. Soulful grit. Stories that pull you under.
Vacant Lot are a surf rock/indie band emerging from Liverpool’s thriving music scene. Formed in early 2026 from the foundations of their previous project Clementé, the band have quickly built momentum with sold-out shows at The Jacaranda and a reputation for electrifying live performances.
Blending bourbon-infused blues, Australian surf rock, and Motown soul, Vacant Lot create a rich, dynamic sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

Artist Statement
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
As a band we view our sound as an infusion between modern guitar led blues harmony complimented by catchy and gritty Australian-inspired rhythms. As a band we write to encapsulate the emotions and perspectives of real-life experiences and serve as a storyteller for those who would otherwise remain silent. Our songs start with a groove, then the accompaniment of driving guitar and bass, vintage organ swells, punchy drums and dream-like two-part harmonies, providing a perfect balance between raw-energy and sea-like calmness. Ultimately, we want our listeners to be able to relate, to ponder their own experiences and feel validated in their emotions. They may hear our songs, but our music listens to them.
